Something Strange by the River?

We went to see high the river was (it's been raining like crazy for a little while), and while we were there, we played by the pond. There were lots of frogs, but we didn't manage to catch any this time.

Then we were looking around and found something weird....

A toad trying to mate with a frog. I went to take pictures but they got startled and the frog got away. I don't figure this would have worked out, but I've never seen it before. This is the toad, anyways.

Re: Something Strange by the River?

He's just a horny toad that all. I know that's a bad joke but someone had to say it.

Take care
Tom

Re: Something Strange by the River?

Lol! So many toads have peed on me it's not even funny. For some reason I just never expect it. We've found little babies the size of my thumb nail before though. Super cute!

Right! I don't understand how they can pee that much for such little things.

Re: Something Strange by the River?

Haha, toads don't really give warts. I've been holding them since I was a kid.

If you find a poisonous snake you should turn it in to a museum and collect the reward Snakes are venomous. Poisons are ingested, venoms are injected.

Totally true. Didn't work my head around that when I read the first comment. LOL. Funny part is, I know that... But didn't think it through? lol.

Re: Something Strange by the River?

there are other modes such as inhalation and cutaneous absorption....

Back to that toad - I swallowed a watermelon seed once and it showed up during my colonoscopy, so I know for a fact they do grow inside of you.

what ?????

"Something Strange by the River?"

Didn't that movie star John Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ronny Cox and Ned Beatty?

Or did you see a van?

Just some pop culture references for fun...
