yea... it's like night and day from when I got him... He came in with a TERRIBLE mouth infection and RI... He got treated ASAP for all that crap... He's deff. a handful though... Like, no joke... He is NOT a 1 person snake... hardly even a 2 person snake! It sucks he got those baytril burns, but he's healing, so that's what matters... And he isn't suffering with that terrible infection...

Sakara, did the vet give him the Baytril shots or did they send them home for you guys to do? Abscesses are kinda common for intra-muscular injections on just about...eh..anything. I had an amel Burm who went through the same thing, though hers were never quite that bad. Kinda weird that it's that low as well...it's been a long time since I've done them, so the protocol may have changed. As I recall, we gave mine the shots an inch to the side of the backbone.
This is one gorgeous snake you have, btw.
