Well, we moved the big guy to a 6x2x2 because he was just becoming unmanageable and we thought that if we moved him and he had more room that he would calm down a little... Well, he has a little... deff. seems happier now, but still HATES the hook... I'm attempting to work with him so we'll see what happens...

You can see one of his healing baytril burns in these shots... They are healing VERY well now! The skin is pink and healthy and he's going into shed and hopefully within a couple sheds he'll be better! His mouth is healed up from his infection he had, but it still looks funny... I dunno if that's a Jampea thing, with the wide lips or if it was caused by his injuries... But he's deff. gorgeous and hasn't had any issues, other then the baytril burns, since he was treated...

Here's the gorgeous stubborn boy!

yea... it's like night and day from when I got him... He came in with a TERRIBLE mouth infection and RI... He got treated ASAP for all that crap... He's deff. a handful though... Like, no joke... He is NOT a 1 person snake... hardly even a 2 person snake! It sucks he got those baytril burns, but he's healing, so that's what matters... And he isn't suffering with that terrible infection...

Sakara, did the vet give him the Baytril shots or did they send them home for you guys to do? Abscesses are kinda common for intra-muscular injections on just about...eh..anything. I had an amel Burm who went through the same thing, though hers were never quite that bad. Kinda weird that it's that low as well...it's been a long time since I've done them, so the protocol may have changed. As I recall, we gave mine the shots an inch to the side of the backbone.

This is one gorgeous snake you have, btw.
