Feeding while in shed/blue.

Is it ok to feed while in shed? Been opaque about 2 days.

Thanx LdyDrgn! I'll try later. Just got it about a week ago. Haven't had it probed so i don't know what to name it yet.It is about 8-10 mo. old 30" long very healthy looking.

Louise, it can take several days after the eyes clear up before they shed. It really depends on the species of snake. I know you are talking about bci in general and even they have a schedule that is unique to each individual.

thanks again. i was wondering cause vixen wont eat at shedding time. i hate when she misses her feeding(i know it is okay that she did)

also, if you just got your snake a week ago, you may want to wait until after it sheds to feed it.
Let it settle down.
Moving on top of ecdysis can be double stress.
It would be better to let the snake get used to its environment and go through its natural shedding process first before introducing another variable like food into the picture.

He/she will be fine waiting another week.

Yeah i guess ill wait cuz i took it out today and it seemed quite nervous and squeezed unusually hard while being handled i guess because it cant see very well and wanted to make sure it was not going to fall.
