Chat meetings for admin/mods etc..

Morti should have the logs finished up on things discussed and voted on prior to the 'Houston, we have a problem' time zone.
We still need to set times and dates for the meets for maximum attendance!

Welcome aboard to the new admin, Ravnos, it's about time son!

I still do plan on passing the LOM to another person, so far, Boaguy has asked for it.
I can help him out with it as getting the photos in the LOM gallery and the blocks work on it so that it can change over easily.

A comment was made by Rav, in chat yesterday, about alpha ordering the admin.mod PM links in order to show NO preferences or implied power levels.
This HAS been done, if any dissagree with the alpha order, let me know and I can get it reverted to the original order.

I am also in the process of adding permissions to the new admins for this forum, for posting etc.

The HerpShows (subjects admin) I do still plan on doing the updates on it, from herpkingdom, as it does need at least one monthly update each month.
It's prolly something noone else wants since it is a bit of a time consumer, especially for those that trip up on html coding.

If noone objects, I will let Jim know to keep sending the updates to me each month.

I would like to also admit that I went right to Natas to suggest Ravnos be placed in admin bypassing any vote from other admins. He is well liked and respected by all and has been here since the first day this site was started and he deserves to hold the position. His help in creatring structure will be needed. Many of us have been running things by him anyway for a really long time and his only past reservations about being an admin had to do with heirarchy. I would hope that noone would have any problem with his placement as admin. He is such a relevant figure on this site that I have at times felt guilt for having position advantage over him and unlike many others that have or have had this position, he is here every day. This is something of great importance. We have to be more careful IMO about placing mods and admins who are actually here consistantly. I apologize if taking this right to natas (he just happened to be in chat when the subject came up) in any way worked against the democratic structure we are trying so hard to set up. ....naaaa no I'm not. Rav is a good man and we need him and natas agreed...should be a good enough vote for anyone. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img]

If anyone objects, I'd be happy to let it be taken to a vote. I'm certainly not interested in stomping on anyone's toes. Feeling guilt? You've been in the hobby longer than I, and are around just as much. I think you can look at other communities, (I won't name any names) and see that position advantage has no real bearing on your knowledge, experience, and what you can contribute - aside from controlling the masses of course. I know that I have no objections. Ravnos post are alway relevant and I don't remember ever seeing him get out of line. If Brett vouches for you, that's good enough for me.

Hmmm... we really need a post so that the mods that will attend can tell us the days best for them so that a time/date can be set to get as many voices heard as possible.
