At least twice in the last couple weeks people have called us on what is actually incorrect temperature guidelines for corn snakes (specifically). We REALLY need to update them to give out correct information, this is becoming an issue.

Someone with ADMIN juice wanna go in there and fix those???

The california kingsnake care sheet has the same bad temp recommendations, but the rest of the colubrid caresheets look good.

Basically what's needed is for someone to go through ALL the care sheets and correct such things as any temp/humidity/etc problems that are in em.
The way that the care sheets got to be like this is that they were being "loaded into the site" without anyone taking the time to go over them and proof read them first. We really should NOT be doing that at all the way it had been done with the first ones that went on the site [ which btw are the ones that seem to have the problems also]. So who's volunteering for this then ?

In regards to the locking down.. Ya'll might just want to wait on that one. Might be able to save yourselves some added work is all possibly. The site will be having some code changes going on in the near future and might be able to add code to have it do that auto even.
Shane just moved recently and is still unpacking atm. In a few weeks he will be making some adjustments to the site's coding. Maybe he can add this into it all that he'll be doing possibly. I'll ask him is all then next time I speak with him.

I think it may as well be someone with admin rights. It makes no sense for me to make the corrections and then have someone else have to post them. Efficiency of work, ya know.

Barring that, I'd be willing to go through them, but not over the weekend. Someone want to explain how we'd approach that?

And I bet I could lock all the threads in my forums before Shane gets around to making any changes.

Well to put it more of a "blunt" nature here then... maybe such changes [ locking down threads] should be waited upon until Shane has been contacted in regards to them first and agrees that the changes should be made. Afterall.. he is the site owner of RTB, as we all know.
the "issue" of such being done had been brought up with him in the past and as you can see.. it was not something that was done then at that point. I think it may have been left for future code changes possibly even, like the one I just mentioned.

In regards to the caresheet errors.. I spoke with Shane on those and they can be taken care of np at this time. Also in regards to your

YUP.. Makes sense to me also. Afterall... Why have one person edit and then another set it into the caresheets when would be more efficient for one to do it ? Sounds like would be a complete waste of anything just about if not done like what you say.

Long as we're on what needs to be done on RTB atm.. How about getting some of the mods/admins to "MOVE" the posts that are in their forums to the forums where they actually should be possibly ? Seems like there is only a few admin/mods that actually do this as it is needed at all most the time. Some of us who do this on the site actually give up and take a break after doing like 40 or so of them at one time even. I know that Eddie, Faze [ Joe] and I have tackled this type thing for hours on end at times on RTB. We have tons more people who could help out with that sort stuff to no end most the time even. AND This is stuff that Shane already knows and agrees to have being done also on the site.

I move serveral a day....I just never post that I did so. I figure by the time they find it, they no longer need an explination as to why it isn't where they left it
