ATTN: Admins....

Need some help in moving some forum threads around the site here...
The following threads ALL need to be moved out please...

Shopping/Buying info forum threads need to be relocated into the herp hardware forum.

ALL morelia threads need to be moved into the corrallus forum. [ yeah we know, the info/name will be changed also for the corallus forum as well].

ALL threads in the anaconda forum need to be moved into the other boids forum.

under the WEBSITE BLOCK of forums for the site.. the following need to be done...

ALL help moved into the "forum help" forum.

ALL general talk need to be moved into the suggestions forum.

That's it for now.. Please note here or send me a pm or email once you have completed doing any of these please. [ NOTE : you won't be able to post here until I fix something in the access levels atm also either. I am going to work on that atm now though.. Be patient btw...]

I, a lowly moderator, can post here. However, I cannot move threads, unless you shuttle them all into the colubrid or anatomy forum first.

Yeah, J, you can only do the forum(s) you are accessed on.
All mods are like that, only accessed for the forums they are listed on.

I don't at all mind combining morelia and corallus forums but I would like to keep it arboreal boids related and not have arboreal colubrids and vens topics posted there.

I checked out the setup from my end, and Grant should be able to post here/access this forum from what I see.
Maybe a cookie deletion and re-log-in will do the trick.

also...in case anyone was wondering...it was I that deleted all the other admins from moderating the "Admin" forums other than natas. We all know that any admin can moderate here anyway. It was beginning to look like a heiarchy here of admins that want to stand out from other admins. It wasn't just me that voiced this and felt this way so I did it...Sorry if this stepped on any toes. As admins, we are all peers and equals here. We may all have more specific rolls or not...but I don't think any one or two admins here are any better or worse than anyone else...or that anyone's word carries more weight than other admins with possible exception of course to natas. I am not accusing anyone of being on a power trip...I am just saying that the way the admin forums were set up did indeed project that whether it was intended or not.

Eddie..I tried a few different things there to get him to be able to post but it's not letting him for some reason or such. He's gonna ask Shane tonite on it and see if he can figure it all out then. in regards to Grant being able to post on this forum that is .

Juls.. Makes sense to me what your saying in regards to the arboreal forum thing. We're trying to re-arrange a lot of the categories and forums , have been for awhile. Grant figured some of it out today even. AND with the latin names being on the forums, I am sure there are quite a few people who have no clue what they are even. i know I have had many people make comments and/or ask questions in regards to the two forums once that other one was made up even.

Which block ya refering to anyways on the listed admins Juls ? this last one ? If so that was set up per Shane stating whom was to be listed on them as the admins is all. Seeing as he owns the site....
Doesn't bother me one way or the other though anyways. There are actually 3 levels in admin / mod also. admin has 2 levels ..admin and super/lead admin from what I understand. The mod has the one level. For a total of 3 levels admin/mod wise that is . The separation of the admin levels was lost I think in the code change that had been done on the site when it got changed over awhile back. Think that's how that all came about possibly even. Don't think it is a power trip at all, just that the lead/or super as natas calls em.. were set to those forums is all [ if they are the ones I am thinking they are that is ]. prolly take time but changes are being made on RTB in all the forums anyways now among other things also on RTB.

YUP.. Some of us do have specific things on RTB that we work on for the site. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] The
list[s] of what/who was doing what for the site have all gone astray though due to things which have been done for who's doing what exactly...BUT that also will get back in line as well too soon.

Gonna take time is all......

Yeah J.. that's how it is set up atm in the coding. The old code though we could access a mod to do certain tasks also if they weren't admin. Maybe Shane could re-write some coding so we can do that again possibly even.

shouldn't the rainbow boa forum be combined with other boids? and the name other boids should IMO be changed back to "other boas" since the only other boid besides boas are pythons and there is a python forum. anacondas are boas too in case that is your argument. LOL...if your argument is for that of where do you talk about calabars....pthhh who knows. I don't think we have that many posts though on the subject to worry about messing up a whole block of forums over them.

PITA PITA PITA!!!!!

Tried to reorder a couple of forums and getting this message...got it in Photo Redtail category.

Error details:

There are a few that are out of order for their categories, and even a straggler hanging out by itself, Reptile Husbandry etc.. Breeders Exchange. It's hanging out being a loner, away from the rest of its buddies.

We also have a redundant topic, Suggestions..
There are two suggestions forums, one in General and the other in Admins.

I did get the general reordered, the forums, Site Suggestions, Forum help & Features and bug Fixes, are now at the bottom of that category.
