Why does BP get to stand for the absolute least interesting snake with those initials?
BP- Burmese python
BP- Boelen's python
BP- Bredli python? sort of anyway lol
Here's my list
IT -inbred trash
PA- poor albino
PS- Porch snake.."BW knows all about these"

I have never seen anyone refer to a Burmese Python as BP. I usually see burm for burmese python.
I can always put a note in it saying also stands for Burmese Python or Bredli Python.

venomous latin names
can be found here_ Names of Venemous Snakes
for some reason it wouldn't cut and paste correctly probably due to the columns on the page.

Maybe instead of a roll over, a glossary of some sort, would be useful with all the latin names. Something that could be clicked on and opened in a new little window similar to the way the view more smilies works. I don't know if that would be too much of a pain to work up. Just thought it would be easier than the roll over definetion.

1.0 = one male zero females
0.1 = zero male one female
0.0.1 zero male, zero females, one unknown
so it is like this
male.female.unknown (or unsexed)
1.1.0

Re: Acronyms
Did this slip down the "to do" list?

Re: Acronyms
How about TIA, thanks in advance?
I'd love to see something along the lines of latin names if you post the generic name or abbreviation (like ATB, GTP, BCI, etc), as well as generic names for when BW and Matt post.

Re: Acronyms
I was looking through this wondering what progress had been made when I noticed that our mouse over for "Iguana" just says "Iguana"
Redundant? You can say that again...
:P
