I got a call to go pick this little cutie up last night after it bit a dog. Poor dog's snout was swollen up pretty good. I dont think the dog likes snakes now.

Nice Chunkhead! Is that a Northern? He looks to be a little guy, still having the "yella" tail. Probably didn't light up the dog too bad [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] Are you going to keep him or release him?
Julius just got a Copper. His is a real success story. It would not eat for 9 months! I tried everything. And about a month after I brought it out of brumation, it just started taking food. He has been eating great ever since. Resiliant little creatures.

No...the one I got from Barry...pictured above...is healthy as a horse. Preserved dead snakes are great for identification education in cases where you can't bring live ones.
