Dirty look..........
I think that the ocular scale gives rattlers that ticked off look. It looks almost like an eyebrow frowning at you. This is my large female Eastern Diamondback. Notice the membrane inside the heat pit.

I just can't see it.....snakes just don't look mean to me.Even if some are dangerous the are still beautiful.I love her colors.Very nice pic,and breathtaking(no pun intended) snake  |

he he..oh, joe and i took the kids to the octagon this past weekend, they were all excited about getting to see lions, tigers, bears..things they dont see on a daily basis. we walked into the snake room, and we were the only ones in there. they mainly had vens, i think the only non vens they had were 2 albino bums, a tic, and a few annies. omg, it was breath taking. my kids were like, oh, cool mom, another snake. well, as we were leaving and other parents and kids were coming in, i noticed the difference in my kids reactions to the snakes compared to everyone elses kids.. it was pretty funny.. they are starting a edcutional thing over there, with snakes.. im pretty excited, cant wait to go, just to see how it turns out.. nice shot |
