Gaboon Viper help?
First off, no im not looking to get one
Not even going to try to explain my paper, cause if i can't put it in words that make sense for me, then it sure as heck wouldn't make sense to anybody else....
Long story short, writing about the keeping of hots and the Gaboon Viper will fit perfectly into my paper.
I've been doing research, but all i can really find is either care sheets, contradicting information, or wikipedia articles. I was wondering if anybody could link me to a page, or some e books for solid information on them, such as history, random facts, interesting facts, bites, all that.
Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Re: Gaboon Viper help?
There is a nice article written by a friend of mine Gregg Madden. I believe it was in 2009 Hot issue of Reptiles...
If you have specific questions I can help a bit on captive care...

you can post who runs them though. Because the term "respected" is subjective.

America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She well knows that by enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standards of freedom. – John Quincy Adams (1821)

Maybe because you don't keep any remarks to yourself?

Re: Gaboon Viper help?
If I remember correctly Harry W. Greene had a section (history and evolution - not about care) about adders in his book. You should check it out and see. He is top notch.

Lotte, we both know that he does this all the time.... tries to make it appear that he has “connections” within the venomous community and is privy to certain information.
A classic was the case of the Green Mamba bite that he mentioned in post # 36 of the “My First Venomous”. This bite happed to a Private Venomous Keeper here in the UK in February 2009..... the victim did not let on that it was he who had been bitten, rather he said in was a “friend”..... within a week or two everyone knew the details of the bite and who the “victim” really was, that is all except James, who was still asking over a year later “how is your friend who was bitten”
Yes Wolfgang and Bryan are respected men in the venomous community... they are good personal friends of mine....... and I happen to know that it has gotten to the point where they try and just ignore him as much as possible. They don't usually answer his posts on that forum

The fact is he has never met any of these people. The only person he has met in the flesh who keeps reptiles is the owner of the pet shop from which he bought his kingsnake.

My god, how much dirt can someone have?
I wonder if he has ever tried to clean out his closet.
