Exclamation No more antivenon for coral snakes!

I think any field herper or coral keeper needs to read this article. it is about how no one in the states is producing any AV for coral snakes and that the AV that is available in Mexico is not FDA approved.

This is old news. I currently keep coral snakes and I'm not worried. To be honest I prefer ALL overseas produced antivenin over US produced. It's proven to be far more efficient. Not only that but it's a #$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^& of alot cheaper! I'm pretty sure none of the stuff produced overseas is FDA. I'm certainly fine with it, they use it themselves for bites where it's produced.
