Some new photos
Well spring is getting closer and I decided to get a few shots of some freshly shed animals.
Variable Bush Viper (Atheris squamigera) Juvenile female. Cameroon, West African locality.
and a yearling from the same locality.
Dusky Pigmy Rattlesnakes (Sistrurus m. barbouri) Adult males. Hendry County, Florida locality. The first specimen is 28 inches long while the second is 22 inches long.
Brazilian Lanceheads (Bothrops moojeni) CB '09 pair. I was very excited to finally acquire a pair of these beautiful, rare Bothrops last summer. Savage beasts!
Eyelash Viper (Bothriechis schlegelii) CB 08, juvenile female. Limon Province, Costa Rican locality. A very pretty mint green/white colored snake.
Central American Bushmaster (Lachesis stenophrys) CB'09 female. Siqurres, Limon Province, Costa Rican locality.

What a/v would that be? I thought your bite was from Atheris chlorechis not Atheris squamiger. It's my understanding there is no specific a/v and some of the venom analyzed has shown some neurotoxic properties. There are some that are used as a last resort, but not a guarantee as they weren't created for this species.
