eh... I'm kinda not for butchering the poor animals. IF you have to get one I wouldn't settle for anything less the venomoid INC. might be more expensive but apparently they do the best jobs and put implants in so the poor thing doesn't have a sunk in head

alslapso keep in mind that venomoids CAN still have venom. I saw a thing somewhere where they had 3 "venomoid" cobras that all had the surgeries and 2 of them milked LOTS of venom

Yeah I would ONLY get one from them(Venomoid Inc.) if I ever do...

I know the risks and have heard the debate, I just want to hear some personal experiences and maybe see some pics of them like Morti said. Furthermore I dont need any warnings from anyone I am a responsible keeper and have plenty of experience with aggressive animals.

I have friends that have voids from VenomoidsInc. I don't have any, but it's a personal preference.
The one I saw was a healthy looking Monocled cobra and its doing OK last I heard.

Look around online and see what you can find. I'm afraid you won't get too many people encouraging voids on many forums, but there are forums you can go and ask questions and educated answers directed to your questions.

Yeah I know a guy that has an albino monacled from VenomoidsInc and its absolutley a joy to work with....NOT!!! But its is still beautiful and healthy.

LOL..seems to a common theme lately.

In any case, to respond to your statement re: monocled cobras:

A few are just really laid back and rarely hood, still all will bite if provoked, others are somewhat in between and have their defensive/agressive moments.
Mine stays hooded up unless she's in her hide box, and charges the glass anytime she sees a shadow.
I don't think their eyesight is that great, mine strikes blindly and all over the place.
Even as a yearling, the fangs would do a nice job of piercing skin, and even if she were a non-venomous snake, I still wouldn't want to freehandle her with those teeth..lol
I'm one of those people I don't appreciate snakebites from even small rat snakes

Lol for sure, I think you are right about the bad eyesite thing with them. Ken's(the guy who has it) does the same thing. It will strike any movement outside the enclosure.

BTW Ken has 3 Kids....he must be a horrible parent too
