The Most Beautiful Venomous Snake
In your opinion, [not limited to one] which species of Venomous snake do you think is the most beautiful?
Post pictures, and the reason why.
Gaboon Viper, because I have always loved their predatory look along with their camo colors that range from blues, purples, whites, to browns, goldens, and blacks.
Indian Cobra, because to me, it doesn't get any more beautiful than a hooded Cobra.

That Boomslang is an awesome color, I'd like to see more pictures of that. What kind of Bush Viper is that, that blue is amazing! I wonder if that is a morph of some sort?

That is by far the most gorgeous Cobra that I have ever seen in my life. Are they rare?

Not particularly venomous and not big, but beautiful....

Re: The Most Beautiful Venomous Snake
For me there is no such thing as the most beautiful venomous snake.....
What I find beautiful is the variety amongst the very different species. I don’t for example favour my Gaboons or Rhinos over my Puff Adders.... they are all wonderful as far as I’m concerned.
If it has got fangs I'm interested

I don't have a photo, but I've always been taken by Western Diamondbacks. I think they are neato.

I was just about to post about them!
I love all reptiles, venomous or nonvenomous, but partly because I live in Arizona and am more exposed to Diamonbacks, I've developed a quasi-obsession over them.
Here's a photo of one I took with a poor camera and poor lighting conditions, but you get the idea.
Here's a much better photo (not taken by me) of a local Western Diamondback. They are definitely a creature who demand respect.

I adore big fat Gaboon Vipers.
Eyelash Vipers are perdy too.
