Apocalypse
So, here is Apocalypse.
He is a 3 year old Male West African Gaboon Viper. His temperament is okay, best you can expect I guess.
He has lived his whole life with a one owner, so he is pretty stressed out. Plus the long ride to my house probably did not help any.
He is about 4 feet long and maybe 8 pounds at the most.
He has not eaten since Oct 16. I tried feeding him today a P/K Rat, I know he will eat off the floor of the cage if you just lay a feeder in there, I have seen him do it, but he did eat today. I even dangled and nothing.
I hope he will start eating for me in a couple of weeks, I am guessing he is pretty stressed out.
The crazy part about this guy is, he is all black and white, with little hints of light brown. I have never seen a Gaboon lacking the reds and other colors that you commonly see.
Well here he is. Any advice would be awesome.
David.

Re: Apocalypse
Seems like he would need some time to settle in before feeding. Just a hunch though. Good luck with him.

Re: Apocalypse
Give it deep substrate with good humidity and time to settle in.....also get a fecal done at your vet and see if it might need a shot of wormer.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Good luck with getting him feeding.
