A native Texan
Crotalus Lepidus lepidus, Motled Rock Rattler. This guy resides in the Hueco Mountains in EL Paso county TX.
A couple with the flash turned on.......
Neat stuff for sure. I was fooled into thinking it was klauberi, due to the lack of speckles and general cleanliness of the guy. But was informed by those smarter than I it was indeed a lepidus.
If I find the one I'm looking for, I'll need to know more about them, because I'm gonna keep it for sure. So any links to info on lethality, AV type used, etc would be helpful. Not exactly new to hots, but these don't range where I grew up, and I know nothing about them.

I hook them, set them down, and take aim.
Seriously though, it's mostly the camera. Buy a good one, with good glass, use good light, and you can't go wrong. Although the hots tend to disagree with it, and keep you busy putting them back, more then taking pictures. LOL
Thanks for the comps!

Re: A native Texan
That's one of the cleanest I have seen. Makes me wonder if I like it or not.
