Re: Boiga dendrophilia envenomation account
Mmmmmmmmmkaaaay aaand?
That doesn't scare me the least bit. I've seen Tarantulas and even hognoses do worse to people in cases. In fact I'm picking up 2 different tarantula species [One of which is known to immobilize people for 2 weeks+!] that would be far more potent, aggressive and that have way better delivery systems. That was only over a span of two days anyway.

Well Joe, I'm sure some people appreciate that you're trying to inform them, it's just too bad others are too thick headed.

Oops, accidentally thanked you for that post instead of hitting the quote button. Anyway, can we try this thread without so much hostility?

Yes please. I'd hate to see another useful thread get closed due to immature bickering.

Well I guess when your "mentor" is a free handler, then no worries right? If this is the "next generation" of up and coming venomous keepers, then it's safe to say the future is grim. While you might get away with getting bit once or twice, all it takes is ONE TIME to have a severe reaction. The possability is there, just like smoking. You may or may not get cancer.

That would be Poecilotheria ssp.
Has there ever been a Mangrove bite with six years of lasting effects? Read the last post on the list.
Heterometrus spinifer - Arachnoboards
P.S. H. spinifer's are commonly called a beginner scorpion and I will be buying one of them as well. Doesn't make Mangroves look so deadly.

MODS, I see no reason to close any of these threads. Let these go as a future learning tool to others who come along. Because this won't be the last time. Some of the information might actually save someones life one day.

Who said I'd free handle. I have repeatedly told you all that I refuse to free handle but once again you only find the negative in my posts.
