question..
what is a good venomous snake to start with? i have kept ball pythons before but nothing venomous.
any suggestions?

To sum this up the reason why everyone is so blah about this subject is that we just had a huge discussion on it.
And just to add in something ... you said you have owned Ball Pythons? No offense to ball pythons but they are pansies compared to most other snakes. I mean there are king snakes and corn snakes with more of an attitude than most ball pythons.
So to sum that up keeping a ball python does absolutely nothing to prepare you in keeping hots. | |
