Recentaly I have been postng alot of things on the venomous forum and I have been criticized greatly. In no way do I want hots for at least 5 years. And then I would get a copperhead and work my way up. I am no even considering getting a mamba for 10-15 years. I am sticking to Colubrids and boid right now. I ask questions is that so wrong I posted the mamba thread B/C i like them in zoos not to own now. I want to apolagize to those who I have made feel bad. I also would like to say one last time I am not interested in hots now I want them in the future.

You have to realize what we see day in and day out....people with the same agenda as you, intrested in one day owning a venomous snake and then pop back up a month later with a gaboon viper because it was easily available or they had the cage space. Then 6 months later a cobra and within a year talk of getting a mamba, it happens too often.
I'm not saying you are going to do this, but it's why alot of us that take this "hobby" very seriously are weary. People ask advice, we'll give it and then they do just what we suggest not to do, and that's to rush into things.
I hope you really do take your time and do things the right way.

I take this hobby extreamly seriously. I make it my mission day in and day out to learn about this stuff. Today my mom aproved my spotted python we are getting her in two weeks. I read about sven articles on them and did reasearch upon reasearch. I also want to add I will still be an active member on the forum.

not at all, by all means, ask away, it is one way to learn things....but when you're 14 and start asking question about keeping mambas, you're going to get questioned back.... if you're 50 and have no venomous experience and ask the same questions you'd get the same results.

Dude unless you have hot experience dont. Very hard to work with.
