They will respond when they can. Quit bumping this over and over because you are impatient.

Re: Jameson's green mamba (D. jamesoni jamesoni )
It's interesting your asking me if I keep them when YOU used my picture without any permission. The photo that YOU used of mine is Dendroaspis jamesoni kaimosae, as the latter isn't common in the US. D. j. kaimosae isn't more common, but D. j. jamesoni is virtually non existent in captive or even zoo collections. Anyways, I'll cut to the point. David, you seriously need to take a step back. While your interest and love for the animals is fine, your extremely over anxious and way to eager to jump into this. Please, don't even say your thinking about keeping ANY of the Dendroaspis or that they're in your future. That's totally absurd and you probably haven't had the slightest idea on what these animals are capable of. These can be at times the worst to deal with in captive settings, mainly due to their size, speed, and agility. This is a species that is best reserved for certain individuals with a number of years under their belt in keeping venomous reptiles. I will say for a fact that not every hot keeper should own a Mamba. If your looking for a good read, check out an article I co- authored with a friend from South Africa last year. Also, don't use other people's photos without prior approval.

Re: Jameson's green mamba (D. jamesoni jamesoni )
