Dunkin' Chunkhead
I was just sitting around this afternoon asking the wife what we should do today on a rainy Sunday when my phone rang. Someone found a small Copperhead in their pool skimmer. This was one unhappy critter.
It is about a foot long and still has the caudal lure. Probably last year's baby.

Re: Dunkin' Chunkhead
The more I look at it, the more this is a great example of a "typical" copperhead. It has great color and pattern definition. It is a "textbook" specimen of the species.
