Re: Luray Zoo
Please note: The actions portrayed by this zoo-keeper are almost universally considered to be a very bad idea. Please do not try this at home. Especially if you want to avoid catastrophic damage to yourself including loss if limbs and/or death.

Agreed, But it would take gonads of steel do it. I wonder how many times he has been bit?

Re: Luray Zoo
We visited there 4 years ago. I think the sign is new. From the outside it looked to be converted gas station. We drove by it many times thinking it was a dump. On our last day in the area we went in anyway. My wife had insisted on packing the car before we left home so we didn't have the camera to take pictures of the place. I would have taken alot. It was a couple of years before we got interested in reptiles, but we were very impressed. There is a winding corridor with tanks of various reptiles. Then there was a large area in the back with birds, tigers, alligators, crocs & other interesting stuff. They've got a picture of Steve Irwin when he visited. I doubt he went to every hole in the wall zoo.
