Hey try with Bothriechis but it is not that easy. Is it either a Bothriechis aurifer or a Bothriechis Schegelii? Hahaha... It's a Bothriechis schegelii the other one would be posted by Lori any time soon.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but that doesn't look any Bothriechis schlegelii I have ever seen. Again, maybe I misunderstood your post.

I always get those mixed up.
Its an aurifer.

I am not very familiar with an aurifer. Anyone know any good links? Head structure looks so much like a Trimeresurus.

Good thing I don't have anything to do with this classification of snakes huh? lol

mmmmmk. Oddly enough Jessa got me a snake book for xmas (who woulda thunk it?). It is THE BOOK OF SNAKES by Burton. As i was flipping through it, i found a pic of B aurifer. What are the odds?
It looks as thoufgh it COULD be the same species. Perhaps if the pic was clearer I could see better. The example I have has much more pattern and VERY heavily keeled scales. Is there sexual dimorphism is aurifer? Does anyone have some other pics of this species? My curiosity is peaked.
