I recieved this baby king in January of this year. He was housed in a 10 inch deli cup, skinnier than a shoe string and had to be force fed every 3 days for 5 months.........


Now he lives in a 3 foot Neodesha and eats F/T on his own

i imagine force feeding a baby venomous is a risky process, by king do you mean king cobra?

Yes it's a King Cobra.

Forcefeeding venomous snakes is deffinitly a big risk....although a necessary one at times. Forcefeeding or other hands on procedures put you at the highest risk for a bite.

Great looking snakes. I'm curious though, what are your feelings on the long term effects of feeding hannah's rodents, as opposed to snakes? Do you switch it up every so often?

There are no keeled scales on that snake Switalski, it's a Smooth Green Snake.

It might be smooth, but I have a feeling it's name starts with "dendroaspis".
