Monster Crotalus adamanteus
A buddy of mine who's a Florida Fish and Wildlife officer called me this afternoon to inform me he was bringing by a "present". While he was at his vacation home in N. FL, he came across this Crotalus adamanteus that he thought was clipped by the truck in front of him. He got out, to check on it and saw it was acting normal despite a small amount of blood by the mouth. He kept it with him for the five days he was up there, expecting it to pass on, but it never did, and the snake obviously has no problem. It must of been barely grazed by the truck, if that. This snake is a solid five foot, if not six. It's easily the largest I've seen in a long time. I will get a precise measurement, once I find a tube big enough for it. B)

Re: Monster Crotalus adamanteus
If the snake was fine, why was it not released?

Re: Monster Crotalus adamanteus
That's a huge Eastern! Good round shape too. Wonder where he's been hiding? He's been eating really well!
