A fine organization

If you are not a member of the Southeastern Hot Herp Society, definately think about it. It is (of course) focused on venomous species, but many members do not even keep hots. I am sure most of you have been to the site at http://www.venomousreptiles.org . I think that $25 a year for membership is a bargain considering how much knowledge you get access to. Also the quarterly newsletter is always very good (best herp society newsletter I have ever read). It is not just for people in the Southeast, there are members all over the world and a private forum where we can all come together. The SHHS and RTB are the two communities that I am most active in.

Here are some photos from the SHHS Banquet at the Columbia SC show. (The ones fromt he banquet are Karl Betz's, the rooms is mine)

And of course there has to be the post show party.

awww that's sad...I see the ghost of a novice hot handler floating above your heads in the first photo. anyone know who that was or what got him?
