Heh. I dunno if I'd call it a herp attractor, but there is a fairly large group of serious herpers in my area. We all know each other, and know what the others are looking for, and when we come across something, we pass leads and animals along. Of course, theres always some stuff that gets snatched up quickly, but we all have our specific 'specialties' and share info and animals. I know some snakes that have passed through 3 or 4 owners. Also, we kind of have a transport system set up, so if we know someone is going to be seeing someone else soon, we relay animals. I can find someone who knows the care info on even the most obscure species. I can't complain.
