Okay, let's try this. Live feeding is BAD BAD BAD on soo many levels. Please read more here: Thinking about feeding LIVE? Welcome to the Live Pile
And a simple genetics lesson: even if some of the snakes do not show the one-eyed trait, they may still carry the trait and pass it along to their offspring. So really all you would be doing by breeding your one-eyed snake is spreading this defect. And you already mentioned that feeding is an issue since it can't see out of one side of its head. Why pass that on?
The problems you ran into with your Ball Pythons could have been due to a husbandry issue as they are VERY sensitive to mistakes. Please check the cage temps, humidity, etc. of your new super cool venemoid monacled cobra.
And if you would happen to be a TROLL. You have definetly set a new record for the most buttons pushed in a single post. I truely hope you are just sadly uninformed

He is in an Animal Plastics 4' cage with the locks you can get. I treat him just like a regular cobra so it will help with the real thing. I use cypress mulch and a big water bowl that is big enough for him to soak in. He has an upside down litter box with a hole cut in it as a hide box (one of the small ones you get at Walmart). He has the built in heat set at about 83-85.

I knew there was more than the obvious about this kid that threw up a red flag. I already went through all this in email a month ago with "Jeff Hutchings" at the same email address. I think I even still have the photo he sent me of his mutant in one of the emails. If he didn't take my advice then, why should I waste my time now? Not to mention I also know that you are not even supposed to have that where you live, even if it is a venomoid.

Ok Im not going to go into the live feeding thing, because we've done this, but some snakes will NOT accept F/T PERIOD. I'm sure the snakes that he has are on p/k or f/t since they are voids as well.
Now, I know he mentioned he is trying f/t or p/k because the snake is a void.
Obviously he won't be offering live prey.
I often wondered about voiding a Gab, since I still REALLY wouldn't want to be bitten by THOSE teeth, but thats a story for another day..
Have you tried "braining" the rat/mouse and leaving it in the cage overnight?
Is the snake in a room that might get high traffic?
Those are the best I have right now. I see BW lurking, I'm sure that will be your best source.
Good luck, and no offense, but please don't breed this snake, get a different one with great traits, just on the off chance it could pass down the one-eyed gene.

All you did was **** and lecture me about everything that you THINK I am doing wrong. Well I have healthy animals so obviously I am doing something right. ************ You obviously don't know what you are doing.
I have ONE problem with ONE snake that I need help on. But instead of helping, everyone calls me a troll. Fine. I know what I am doing with my snakes and just have one problem with one snake. I guess actually registerring was a mistake. Maybe someone will come along and help and I can READ it. But I go belittled enough by BWSMith in email, I dont need it public by him or anyone else that would rather **** and moan about little things instead of actually giving INFORMATION. Until then, I don't have anything else to say.
