Has that particular snake rotted any fingers? I'm trying to keep all my fingers in mint condition, and I suspect that beauty might hinder my efferots.

Being a musician, I definitely value my hands way too much to consider one of these, even though they happen to be, IMO, one of the single most beautiful snakes on earth. They always look so "angry", something about the eyes...I love it

Ranger - The snake hasn't bitten anyone, but it sure would if given the opportunity.
Joe - I agree, they can look pretty angry. The male pictured below wasn't pleased when I ended his brumation cycle early. Can you see it on his face?

Beautiful pictures of one of my favorite hots!!! Someday I'm getting one!! I'd love the colors to be as nice. Some are somewhat drab depending upon where they are....yours is awesome.

Other than not getting bit, there's no talent involved. I keep a few venomous critters for educational purposes. If I didn't use them for education, I would not have them.

I agree they're beautiful snakes, However they are far more beautiful when seen out in the wild where they belong.
