West African Green Mamba (Dendroaspis viridis) CH late '04, Ghana. Sorry for the in shed shot though, but she is impressive at 5+ foot

Atheris are not real snakes. They are creations from Jim Henson. No one will ever convince me otherwise.
Green Mambas are absolutely the ONLY elapid I find remotely attractive. I LOVE their exagerated scales. Great photos!

Those easterns look like rough greensnakes. I like the westies and jameson's...from afar that is. I'm not agile enough to wrangle anything faster than an angry cottonmouth. And Bothrops...umm there's a reason for the little grave marker markings on their side. I can't remember what species but one of them has crystal clear ones with neat little crosses on top...very eerie lol. Gotta love em though. Beautiful animals.
