Venomoids? Humane? Safe?
for those of you who don't know what venomoids are,
(removed link because we don't allow advertising for void hacks here)
venomous snakes have had there venom glands and ducts removed surgically... I'm not quite sure where I stand on all this, so I'd love to hear what you rtb.net's think about this.. Although they are rendered 'safe' the company isn't liable for any infection or death resulting from bites (LOL) but I'm sure it's hard to render a venomomous snake 'harmless..'
If this is humane, as they say so on their website... than I'd be very interested in purchasing one.. again I'd love to hear some input on the site, so do share!

it is beyond cruel. the snakes have nothing for pain. most venomoid surgerys are garage hack jobs. as far as i am concerned there is nothing more wrong in the herp world then venomoids and the heck those poor snakes have to go through. i have quit sites and left staff because they allowed people there who are pro venomoid.

they would like you to believe that the snake feels no pain, and doesn't know they don't have their venom.. again you can't believfe half the stuff you read on the web, why I made this thread-- so anyone else share your input,

thank you, that idea has left my mind.. there isn't really a substitute for a venomous snake, guess I'll just have to wait but I've waited before.. lol
