I hope so... A 14 year old should not be keeping venomous snakes...
It is very nice but for your safety and the health of the snake, you should get an adult to help you release it back into its natural environment!!!

It's probably illegal to have it.... not to mention if it does happen to bite you, that's gonna be more bad news for the snake hobby.

1) nice animal but there is a ton of responsibility when keeping a venomous snake....not only can they possibly kill you, but other as well and the only publicity you're likely to ever get is 100% bad so one mistake is just too many
2) people in this community love to look at your age and make a judgement based on nothing else.....most adults are too irresponsible for kids, let alone venomous snakes......if you are 100% sure you can handle it and never get bitten, then go for it IF it's legal because if it's not, you'll probably end up as that bad headline i was talking about......the reason i can't keep whatever i want here in alabama is because some kid kept his mamba and cobra in a box and they got away in a major city's suburbs.....don't be that stupid kid, please
3) remember that if you survive a bite, it could cost you $50,000 or even more......insurance won't cover it all, maybe none, if they can prove you were negligent and doing what you've admitted to doing in this thread (keeping a "dangerous" animal).......your parents may be put in a huge bind, so don't take them for granted, and make sure they know what's up, nothing cool about hiding it....if they're halfway decent parents, they'll find out and if they don't realize it's a dangerous snake, they could end up in a bad situation......
good luck with whatever you decide to do.....cool that you didn't go out of your way to simply kill it, but it is as dangerous as a gun if you're lazy for just one minute

well said fizzle, anti-venom is real pricey, and he's right most insurance policies won't cover you at all, or very little... be careful
