I thought that we have diamond backs here too? I donno i might have mistaken it for a cotton mouth or somethin... cause i though i saw one the other week, i was so freaked out i about Sh*t my pants!haha im not used to bein around venomous snakes. I know Kjimeson, he lives in the same town, he got me hooked on snakes. His python isnt 7ft but its #$%^$%^$%^$%^& near close to 6ft [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Like Ravnos said, ya got at least one rattler and possibly two species of rattlers, so it could have been one of them.

Western Diamondback's range comes up short, in northern Oklahoma...and obviously the EDB only gets as far west as Mississippi.
Cottonmouths would be the western subspecies and they would be extreme south western Kansas. They're not very well patterned, whereas a WDB is obviously patterned
