Cool cobra

I've the pleasure of knowing this spitting cobra, thoug I'm still trying to identify it. It's really aggressive, with blue eyes, and beige to cream smooth scales. I don't knwo if it's African or Asian. Someone said that it may be a "saipan" with an "s".

Does anyone know what it might be? Sorry, but I don't really have much knowledge on venomous snakes, and I'm trying to help a friend.
