Does that stuff have an expiration date? Just curious...

Yep, all anti-venine has expiration dates. That's another reason it's so expensive, it's only good for so long, like antibiotics.

I think that the expiration is like 3 to 5 years. That is a wise investment if you are keeping O hannahs. Did you have someone help you through all of the government red tape? Just curious, because I know a few people that keep exotic AV and it took forever to get all of the paperwork in order and find a doctor that would help. Now that you have put up this, you have to put up a pic of the King!

Still makes for nice memorobilia. No hot collection would be complete without some random stuff floating around the room I have been trying to find old AV for my Venomous Educational programs.

Freeze dried should last pretty indefinitely, as long as its kept at a constant cold temperature.
Does anyone else find it silly that they put the common name of a species on the antivenin and not the scientific name? Talk about vague... could you imagine coming into a hospital, nearly out of it, saying 'cobra bite' and passing out. So they give you 'cobra' antivenin, only to find out after you're dead that it was a king? =)
