Timbers - Collect the Whole Set!
Well, I can finally knock Yellow Timber off my wish list. I am trying to get all of the major variations of horridus. I just picked up this beautiful specimen today.
And of course, I have the Black Phase whos lineage goes back pure to New York (some of you know how hard that is).
A beautiful Rust Phase
One of the few Green Phases I have seen
And of course Canebrakes (Southern Timber Variation)
Unless I find major color phase that I have missed, I think Ihave the complete set with. However, I would still like to get a smokin' hot pink Canebrake.

The scales on all of that seem pretty far apart. Is that typical of horridus, or am I just crazy?

I looked at the other horridus I have. They all have separated scales like that. Some to a greater degree and some are just on the side.

Are they rapidly gaining weight under your care, or are they just like that?

That is just the way they are. Even my skinny cane is like that.
