Venomous Display
Here are a few pics of some of the venomous we have for display in the shop. People like to come in and see them. The first is a Northern Copperhead, the second is a mojave rattlesnake, and the last one is a western diamondback.

Is the C. atrox naturally that gray or is he/she getting ready to shed? Since moving to Arizona I'm chomping at the bit to get out in the field when the weather warms a little and see the local Crotalus. C. scutulatus was the most common rattlesnake I saw when living in southern Nevada. Fun display! It always adds that "thrill" factor for visitors to a reptile shop.

He is actually that gray. My friend bought him because he was so pretty. He tends to get wound up if there are alot of people moving around, and to be so small, he makes a HUGE noise!

I'm always amazed at how loud they can be, especially in the field. Occaisionally you can be 50' away or more and they'll sound off...and there's no mistaking that buzz! Pretty animals. Thanks for sharing!
