Road Cruising
Any of you guys or girls road cruise and what are some of your favorite spots? Mine would have to be River Rd in west texas; we found so many WDB's and Mojave's this past Sept it was crazy. Not to mention my first Rock rattler and 2 trans pecos rats.

LOL...I keep hearing that it's a 5 hour drive to Florida. Personally, I have never done it in less than 11 hours

We make it from Virginia to the everglades in 14 hrs. That is where we will be this tuesday; can't wait. Last month we found a DOR burmese python on everglades parkway. DOR meaning dead in road. What a shame but the glades are teaming with them.

My favorite places are just about any remote area in west texas, and Jasper Co. south carolina.
But Parker and Johnson counties (the parts that havent been developed yet) in N.Central TX are still pretty fruitful at the right times.

Didnt know you could find Mojaves in TX I thought that was mainly a Cali,Nevada, Arizona snake. Learn something new every day.
Don't have any road cruising spots here.
Favorite spot I've been though is the backroads around Las Vegas, just found Lizards but it was Way too cool.

For me it starts the minute I leave the driveway till the time I get home. Granted though im in Florida lol. If im looking for the more exotics its about 45 minute drive south to West Palm and 2 hours to the Glades or Miami south region. A night trip with a small john boat in tow to the canals for spotting Iggies and other exotics is always a blast.

Iguana, Chicken of the trees. Plenty of them to find around Miami. Not to mention monkeys, Parrots, Crocs, Caiman, Burms, Boas on rare occasion, Basilisk, Anoles of all types just lots of exotics not to mention all the native stuff its a fun trip with a little effort.
