i was gonna say it looks like an eastern diamondback crossed with a neotropical, or, like ed guessed, a reduced pattern eastern diamondback... perhaps melanistic. i for one would like to see another picture AFTER shed. its is a pretty sweet snake, whatever it is. well???

In order for me to determine the particular type of Crotalus, I need a picture of your hand next to the animal for a size comparasion. LOL
