Incubating Uromastyx's eggs
Anyone have any experience or tips they would like to share?
Recently our female mali uromastyx laid 13 eggs. All have the red dot where the embryo is being develope, so I believe they are all fertile eggs. I have experience breeding and hacthing bearded dragon eggs, but its only day 2 and these seem like they are going to be alittle more difficult to maintain. I've noticed that some are starting to concave/collapse slightly which makes me think I should up the humidity, but the sides of the tubs are still moist as I've read they should be. Now they are only concaving from the top, so I'm thinking that mabey I have to much ventilation and perhaps the tops are drying out? I'm going to cover the airholes I poked in the lid for now and see if that helps.
I'm keeping them between 92-93 degrees and have placed them so the embryo is pointed to the side < this information I found on Deer Fern Farms Uromastyx's caresheet. I'm basically just having trouble finding answers for humidity levels and air circulation.
Any tips/advice/experience would be greatly appreciated. Or even a link to some info anyone has found in the past.
Thanks,

Matt

Wow! Great info! Thanks Sam, thats what I was searching for. Hopefully I can get the humidity set up right in time, I hate doing things on the fly like this.
Appreciate it.

Me too! With it only being the second day and me having trouble already it could be LONG 55-70 days!
I hope it all works out. Not to many things cuter than a baby Uro!
