We recently got a juvenile male Mali uromastyx, and they are so much fun to watch. My question is, we both work during the day, so we were considering getting him some of those food pellets to leave with him during the day, since greens left in with him in the morning would just dry out way too fast to be anyting but a waste. My big question is, which kind to get for him?? Iguana juvenile, iguana adult, Kaytee, T-rex, Rep-Cal, tortise pellets, beardy pellets... Not as much info out there on that as I thought there might be.

Thanx all
Brian

Most of the manufactured foods aren't really great for a sustained diet...
They can however be part of a good mix or variety of diet.
And yes, they are a blast to watch!
I like to sneak up on ours and tap it on the back so I can see the tail whippig action!

Yeah, we are still gonna feed a good mix of greens in the evening, and the occasional insect for a treat. We were just hoping for something that he could snack on through the day in the event he gets hungry earlier.
