Question Vitamins and Supplements

I have been using Uromastyx dust with my Mali with just about every meal. Should I use it less often? Should I use an additional supplement with this one?

Thanks in advance. :]

Re: Vitamins and Supplements

Is it an adult or juvie? if adult, 2-3 times per week should be fine...juvie 1-2 days more a week.
The only other thing, don't quote me, cuz i'm just going by lizards in general, but maybe a calcium supplement 2-3 times a week wouldn't hurt...
like I said, wait for others to respond too...
good luck

Re: Vitamins and Supplements

Hello,

The vitamins should only be given 1-2 times weekly, max for juvies & only 1 time weekly for adults.
Calcium should be given at least 4 days a week for juvies & only 2-3 times a week for adults.
UVB should be used as well to help with calcium absorption.

Re: Vitamins and Supplements

Thanks, everyone! I would say he's probably a young adult...He's around 8inches long [tail included].

Are there any specific brands you would recommend for a calcium supplement? I've heard mixed reviews.
