My Uromastyx is turning really dark brown It used to be a really light yellow color. I feed him crickets for protein and he gets all his vegies. I keep the cage at about 90 to 95 during the day and around 80 at night what could this be.

Does he have a cooler side and a hot basking spot? They do need to thermoregulate too. Also...they love birdseed mixed with the veggies but I think your Uro is prolly just getting ready to shed. As long as he is plump, active, feeding and pooping...I wouldn't be to overly worried.

Those temps should be higher too. The temps should be 105-110 degrees basking. A friend of mine has his basking spot at 125 and his are happy as can be, they have adaquate room to cool down too. Those temps are strictly basking spot.

thanks I will make the temps higher and try that but I don't
think it is about to shed it just shed about 2 to 3 weeks ago.
It does have a cool spot but it never goes over to that side of
the cage.
