I have a crappy picture here (but i hope it works) its the best I could do.
I want to breed my uromastyx this season, and would like to know if they are male and female or not.
The one that I think is a male has much larger pores then the other, has 2 bulges, and is turning black on his/her legs.
The other has NO bulges, smaller pores, and no black.
Lemme know what you think, take your best guess.
if the pic doesnt work...here is the URL..

Hmm.. Your pic no workie, your link no workie either . I get this as a message when trying to link with your addy you provided...
<TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=85%><TR><TD><font class="pn-sub">Quote:</font><HR></TD></TR><TR><TD><FONT class="pn-sub"><BLOCKQUOTE>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout expired
/i_shop.asp, line 122 </BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR></TD></TR></TABLE>
Nothing I would ever figure out lmao
ANYWAYS.. In regards to sexing the Uromastyx .. How abouit more info on them to start with. What specific ss of Uromastyx are they ? If they are the Mali-Uro then I don't even need a pic to tell ya the sex anyways..
Male has a greenish/yellowish coloring on it's back/top side
Female has a basic overall tannish coloring with none of the green/yellow color at all
Uro's are quite easily sexually ID'd by their coloring rather than their pores btw.

well then, I have a pair, because the one i think is a male has the greenish/orangish color on his back, and the female is a drab tan and grey.
Also, the one i think is a male is turning black on his legs and head, the female , nothing.
And yes, they are Mali Uromastyx.
Thanx for your help Lori!!
Much appreciated....but I should be taking new pics this weekend with a better camera, will post them when i get them.

Well, unless the colorful one is a male-mimic female. =)
The one with the larger pores is very likely male, though.

lol...just like most animals except humans the males are the pretty ones.
Mali males are usually gold/yellow
Mali females are usually blah brown
I think you have a pair.

I'd agree on the having a pair thing also from what you are describing on the coloring they have.
