I have a pair of 1.1 mali uromastyx. The female is about 11in, the male a tad bit smaller (almost 11in)
Are these breeding age?
If so, How and when can I start breeding them?
Do they have live young or eggs?
Thanx for any help!
Crystal

I believe that they are about the size they need to be for breeding at this point.

They don't seem to be quite full grown, 11" is listed as the minimum adult size for the females, but malis can go up to 14"-16" as adults. Generally, it takes them three years or so to get fully grown. Here are a couple of links from Deerfern Farms, the first on general uro care, the second some info on Malis.

Karnivor's site has some good info on Uros too. Click on the first link under "The Uromastyx Pages" in the left frame:

Malis are probably the best choice for first time uro breeders, but they're still a bit tougher than a lot of other common pet lizards. Good luck.
