redtail heat vents?
i've heard (from none too reliable sources to be honest) that redtail boas have heat vents...i've yet to see them and have never heard anyone in the forums talking about their heat vents nor have i read anything about them in care sheets so i'm assuming this isn't true?

i believe you are thinking about pythons.
edit: no maybe not...thought you meant heat-sensing pits.

Actually some boas do, here's a pic of an Emerald I used to own. Notice the pits. Most Boids have heat sensing capabilities via nerve bundles behind the labial scales even if they don't have pits.
Cheers

Red Tail Boas do not have visible pits like Emeralds, Rainbows, and Pythons do.
