Guess this qualifies as a Tall Tale?
Ok so my best friend started dating this guy...First impression he seems alright
He finds out we have snakes, then tells me he worked at WalMart and they sold Pythons there, assuming Ball Pythons. But he didnt specify, just bragged how he wasnt supposed to feed the snakes when ppl were around, but he would toss in a rat to scare off bratty kids...
Tall Tale?
Anyways, he went on to say a friend of his had a python (again, not specific) that was 6ft (assuming Burmese). That he kept in a closet...and whenever the Road Crew found a roadkilled deer, they called him to come and get it, and he fed it to his 6ft snake...Thats a big meal for a 6ftr..
Tall Tale?
He also said last year a Copperhead chased him out of the water and into his boat..he killed it with a paddle...
Tall Tale?
Just curious what you guys take was...I think he's full of

They all sound pretty fake to me.
Since when does Walmart sell snakes? That alone sounds like a lie to me.

Yeah the Wal Mart one got me, but since I wasnt sure, I didnt call him on it.
The road kil,l I thought, was pretty disgusting though...LOL I dont doubt he knew a guy with a Burmese, and that idiot probably fed him 2 day old roadkill.. I just said I felt sorry for the guy's snake, and that it probably died from parasites..And I explained about the "pre-killed" f/ts I feed and why...
I was hoping I wasnt off kilter by calling him on the lies...But this is the sort of thing I hear ALL the time in Arkansas...People who dont know anything about snakes...He is the EXACT type who gets snakes...Its irritating..
Leave it to my friend to pick this guy...LOL

Tell her to dump the lying looser. Walmart can't even take care of fish. I would have went off on him if he even thought those things would impress me. Jerk.

Tell your friend to stay away from that one... apparently a compulsive liar, and I doubt the lies will stop at trying to make himself look good in front of a snake loving friend...

Was he actually bragging about working at Wal-Mart in the Pet Dept?
She should dump him just for that!

Ryan (my husband) said we will go out to her house (in the boonies) and get him out with us to do some field herpin' LMAO..Her place is perfect for copperheads and rattlers... Maybe we could convince him a garter snake is "poisonous"

I heard a rummer there is some inbreeding going on down there j/k. Maybe if you had to lie all your life about your parents being sister/grandma/aunt or what ever the case may be you would grow up thinking its ok to lie.
