Hey.......i was walking down the street and i found a turtle that was about to get hit by some kids wit bats so i saved it and now i have it as a pet....my dad says it is a Mud Turtle but iv never seen one before....i am wondering what he eats? does anybody know?? ( i call him/ her spike) and i have 2 pics but i dont know how to show them or anything.....im only 14 so i dont really know much about them

check out www.chelonia.org. just fyi, turtles are VERY hard and expensive to care for... they require a varied diet, UVB lighting (or they won't grow and will eventually die) and a lot of other things depending upon the species. that website will give you tons of information.
