anything else i can use?
besides the typical turtle docks and turtle landing things that they have at petsmart and petco, is there anything else that floats that i could use as a basking spot for turtles?

Re: anything else i can use?
cork bark, maybe?
it works with little turtles, but not so much with the bigg'uns. you can always usua natural rocks and pile them so they're stable and whatnot. I used to do that.

Re: anything else i can use?
ive never seen a big piece of cork bark though i was thinking i could find a big piece of driftwood, and somehow rig it so that it doesnt sink, i really want a more natural looking turtle tank

Re: anything else i can use?
Most driftwood would float, too, right?

Re: anything else i can use?
some of it does, but only for a while until it becomes waterlogged. then it sinks i kinda wanted a long log-type thing that i could just anchor diagonally in the tank so i wouldnt really need to attatch it to anything to make it float and stay in place, but i have yet to find what i need for a decent price
