How do I make my turtle come out?
Hi hopefully I wont get as much yelled at here.
I have a turtle that I lost but I am pretty sure its in my house somewhere. Now I am a good keeper and I had it for like a year so I know what I am doing. Its tank was near the TV and my annoying friend used to come over and take it out all the time while we were watching TV and I know I should have made some order and kicked him out, but I didnt think anything bad would happen. I think he scared it because he kept trying to get it to eat nachos with us when we were watching TV (trust me I am not stupid, I know they dont eat nachos!).
Anyway, it disappeared, I think it got out of the tank cuz when my friend put it back he didnt close the lid tightly and I dont know where it is now.
i know its in my house somewhere because it cant get out through the front but just in case I told my neighbors to watch out if they see it, but I am 99% sure it somewhere in the house. So my question is, does anyone know how I can lure it out? I looked all over and cant find it and ive left treats for it at night and it still hiding!
Anyone have any ideas? Please dont get angry at me, I will be more careful next time with my friend and I will punish him for this.

I also hope you find it.
One dirty trick to helping find it is put a line of flour down on the floor across doorways. That way it will leave tracks and you can determine its movements.
What species of turtle is it?

It's a turtle right? turtle? hard shell, can't squeeze into cracks, can't really climb, kinda slow, usually ends up deciding to sleep and lays down where it is....

Regardless of anyone's opinion of this person (my own included) he has these animals.
I would personally prefer that he give them to someone who will care for them properly, but since that is not likely, I will keep giving him advice on how to care for them in the hope that some of it sinks in.
So.... Deal with it.

How exactly does a turtle climb out of a properly sized tank? How can you not find him? Most turtle keepers don't even use lids for their enclosure.
